Jim Connors Learning Center holds open house in Scranton

The Jim Connors Learning Center at Monticello East expands the Scranton School District’s Monticello program, which supports students with autism.

Thursday’s open house allowed folks to get better acquainted with the new building.

“Beautiful, nothing but awesome, positive vibes that we’ve had here tonight. The parents are super impressed with the building. In regards to this building. It’s a center for them to learn and, um, be successful,” said Katelyn Nocera, principal of the Jim Connors Learning Center.

There are currently 45 students at the Jim Connors Learning Center in Scranton.
