SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The Columbia High School girls’ volleyball team claimed its third Section 2 Class AA championship in program history, and second in the last three years, with a decisive 3-0 sweep over Bethlehem on Friday night. The Blue Devils took the match by scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-13.

Senior standout Keira Cook led the way for Columbia with a dominant all-around performance, recording 15 kills, two blocks, and three aces. Setter Tessa Warner kept the offense flowing with 28 assists while also adding 13 digs on defense. Cat Lopez anchored the back row with a match-high 26 digs and chipped in six assists.

With the win, Columbia advances to the regional final, where they will face the Section 3 champion on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m., at Tully High School in Onondaga County.
