The Bethlehem Banshees won yet another 5th Region All ‘A’ Classic championship Tuesday night.

Neely Cheek scored twice and six teammates also found the back of the net as Bethlehem crushed Campbellsville 8-0 in Tuesday’s championship game at Fort Knox High School on post.

Sophia Miles, Grace Smith, Catherine Deopere, Allie Greenwell and Anna Stith each scored once, while Aubrey Reynolds and Braylee Noe each had one assist.

Goalkeeper Reonna Morgan recorded a clean sheet without facing a shot on goal from the Eagles.

The Banshees improved to 8-3 overall, winning their fourth game in a row.

Bethlehem will host the 6th Region All ‘A’ winner in the sectional matchup. Game time and date had not been set as of Friday afternoon. Athletic Director Gilly Simpson said the school hopes to be able to play both the boys’ and girls’ sectional games Sunday afternoon, but that he wouldn’t know for certain until later in the day Friday.

The Banshees host 19th District rival Nelson County at 7:30 p.m. Monday and play at No. 1 Central Hardin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Bardstown 8, Thomas Nelson 2

Suji Holleran erupted for four goals, carrying the homestanding Tigers to a lopsided victory over the Generals Tuesday night.

Evelyn Riley added a goal and two assists, while Ella Nally, Bailee Ferguson and Jocelyn Jerome each had a goal and an assist.

Emma Rust and Brystol Crume each added one assist as Bardstown improved to 3-0 in the district.

Goalkeepers Raylee Brothers and Aniyah Warren combined for four saves on the night.

Reagan Switzer and Layla Anthony each scored once for Thomas Nelson, while Ella Rose Parrish and Jessi Lyvers each had one assist.

Goalkeeper Katie Vaught stopped 16 of the 24 shots on goal she faced for the Generals, who fell to 0-3 in the district.

Bardstown plays at Spencer County at 6 p.m. Monday and at Greenwood at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Thomas Nelson hosts Franklin County at 7 p.m. Monday.

Thomas Nelson 5, Taylor County 2

Switzer had a hat trick as the visiting Generals (4-3-1 overall) knocked off the Cardinals Wednesday evening.

Parrish added a goal and an assist, while Lila Burton scored once. Harper Ford had two assists and Aubrey Barnett had one.

Vaught stopped six of the eight shots she faced from Taylor County.

Elizabethtown 6, Bardstown 1

The visiting Tigers fell to 5-4-3 on the year with Wednesday’s loss to the Panthers. No statistics were available.

Marion County 2, Nelson County 1

The host Cardinals fell to the Knights Wednesday night, losing their third straight game. No statistics were available.

Nelson County, which played Lexington Bluegrass United Saturday, plays at Bethlehem at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Bethlehem 4, Fort Knox 0

Four players scored one goal apiece as homestanding Bethlehem blanked region foe Fort Knox Thursday night.

Wyatt Bagby, Cayden Greenwell, Max Hurst and Ethan Mullins each scored once, and Will Deopere had two assists as Bethlehem improved to 2-5-1 on the season. Nolan Sparks and Nate Hedgespeth each had one assist.

Goalkeeper Brady Matherly recorded the clean sheet, stopping all seven shots on goal he faced from Fort Knox.

Bethlehem hosts district rival Nelson County at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Bardstown 4, Woodford County 2

Luca Blasco scored twice as the visiting Tigers stunned the Yellow Jackets Tuesday night in Versailles.

Ivy Poynter added a goal and an assist, while Naru Sugie also scored for Bardstown (7-3-1).

Braylen Stepp chipped in with two assists and Ryder Roby had one for the red-hot Tigers, who have won six of their last seven games.

Bardstown plays at region rival North Hardin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Taylor County 4, Nelson County 0

Visiting Nelson County was held scoreless in Thursday’s loss to Taylor County in Campbellsville, losing for the third time in four games to fall to 6-5 overall on the year.

Santiago Hinestroza, Quinton Haydon, Daniel Stark and Logan Vowels each scored once as the Cardinals topped the homestanding Wildcats Tuesday night.
