An investigation is underway, officials said, after a man was killed when a vehicle hit a tree along City Avenue in the Overbrook section of West Philadelphia on Monday morning.
According to police, the incident happened before 2:45 a.m. on Monday, when vehicle struck a tree near the intersection of 66th Street and City Avenue.
The 29-year-old male behind the wheel of the vehicle, police said, was killed in the crash.
Officials did not immediately provide additional information on this incident. But, police said no one else was injured in this crash.
