SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A beloved coffee shop that spotlights people with intellectual disabilities is expanding, and on Monday, it opened its second location.
Coffee Inclusive opened its new spot in Scranton’s south side Monday morning inside the United Neighborhoods Center on Cedar Avenue.
Their goal is to offer even more meaningful opportunities for people with diverse abilities in a new community. The electric city gave them a warm welcome, with long lines and smiles all around.

“It’s really amazing that everywhere we go, people are receptive to what we talk about and what we do because what we do is help people with disabilities live typical lives,” Coffee Inclusive President and CEO, Frank Bartoli, said.
With its new home on Cedar Avenue, Coffee Inclusive hopes to reach even more people in the community.
