The Burger King location at 1028 Northern Boulevard will permanently close later this week.
The last day of operation will be Saturday, a Burger King spokesperson said.
A Burger King in Fairview Twp., Luzerne County, permanently closed on Feb. 11 and the Burger King on Business Route 6 in the Eynon section of Archbald closed on Feb. 16.
Burger King operates eight other locations throughout Lackawanna County: 1174 Mount Cobb Road, Jefferson Twp.; 524 Scranton Carbondale Hwy., Dickson City; 700 N. Blakely St., Dunmore; 1813 N. Keyser Ave., Scranton; 600 Luzerne St., Scranton; 3 Montage Mountain Road, Moosic; 3 8th Ave., Carbondale; and 205 S. Main St., Old Forge.
