Two women have been arrested on charges of prostitution at a business in the Bethlehem Community.
On September 15, 2026, deputies with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged two individuals following an investigation into alleged prostitution activity at Energy Wellness Center, 1173 Shiloh Church Road, in Bethlehem, according to Sheriff Chad Pennell.
The investigation began after the Sheriff’s Office received complaints regarding suspected activity at the business. Investigators conducted an investigation that led to the individuals being charged.
Yuxiang Huang A/F, age 47, of Hickory was charged with:
• Felony-Promote Prostitution for Profit
• Felony Conspiracy
• Misdemeanor-Resisting Public Officer
Huang is currently being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond. Her first court appearance is scheduled for September 21, 2026.
Na Yu A/F, age 49, of Hickory was charged with:
• Felony-Promote Prostitution for Profit
• Felony Conspiracy
• Felony-Offering Bribes
• Misdemeanor-Prostitution
• Misdemeanor-Resisting Public Officer
Yu is currently being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under $160,000 secured bond. Her first court appearance is scheduled for September 21, 2026.
