Kathleen J. Kraftician
OBITUARY
Kathleen J. Kraftician, 77, formerly of Salisbury Township, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Rittenhouse Village in Allentown. She was the wife of the late James A. Kraftician, who died in 2015.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Margaret (McNally) Rogers. Kathleen was a 1966 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and received a Business degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College. She worked as a clerical typist at the State Unemployment Office for 19 years until retiring. Kathleen was an active member at St. Paul’s R.C. Church in Allentown, where she sang on the choir, was a lector and became a Eucharistic Minister. Kathleen loved to travel and always included religious destinations in her itineraries. Her most memorable trips were to Portugal and Israel.
Survivors: Daughter, Christina D. Marschewski and her husband Michael of Easton; son, Jason J. Kraftician of Allentown; sister, Sheila Hartwell of Indiana; grandson, Matthew; nieces and nephews, Rachel, Joshua, Jonathan and Alan.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 in St. Paul’s R.C. Church, 920 S. 2nd Street, Allentown, PA 18103. A viewing for relatives and friends will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service in the church. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Allentown. Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
