State Rep. Eric Weaknecht will host a meeting Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Reading Regional Airport in Bern Township to provide an opportunity to the public to voice concerns about the congested Route 183 corridor.
“Residents who live, work and travel along Route 183 deserve to have their concerns heard and their questions answered,” the Lower Heidelberg Township Republican said in an announcement of the event. “This meeting will bring those responsible for transportation and public safety together in one room so we can have an open conversation.”
Representatives from the Berks County Planning Commission, state police, PennDOT, Bern police and local municipalities will be available to hear residents’ concerns and answer questions.
