CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a Central Pennsylvania man who was wanted on rape of a child and other charges, the CBP announced Thursday.
After Dev Poudel, 50, arrived on a flight from Qatar, officers arrested him on Sept. 12 and he was turned over to Upper Allen Township Police, who said Poudel is accused of having sexual contact with a child who was under the age of 13.
Court records show he was wanted on felony charges of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children.

He was taken to Cumberland County Prison, where, according to court records, his bail was set at $250,000 after he was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Elizabeth Beckley. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 29.
