PENNSYLVANIA (WHP) — A western Pennsylvania man lost tens of thousands of dollars after being scammed by someone pretending to be a professional wrestler this spring, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The 64-year-old was scammed out of around $42,700 in March by someone pretending to be Rhea Ripley, PSP in Kittanning said in a news release.
It’s not clear if the person has been identified, but PSP said the victim has refused to cooperate with the investigation.
