SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — One of the Electric City’s most recognizable buildings is officially back in business.
The Scranton Electric Building has been officially revitalized and reopened. It’s now home to Fidelity Bank’s downtown headquarters.
‘Spoiler candidate’ kept off PA-07 ballot
Leaders marked the move with a ribbon cutting Friday afternoon, calling it an investment in the future of downtown Scranton.
“Fidelity remains strong and, importantly, independent, personally serving our clients and customers, supporting our employees, supporting our businesses, and, importantly, servicing and supporting the communities,” Fidelity Bank Board Chair, Brian Cali, said.
The building’s eighth-floor ballroom will also be available for local nonprofits to use.
