CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. — A memorial honoring a woman from Lackawanna County killed in the September 11th attacks now has a new home.
Officials in Clarks Summit rededicated the plaque on the 25th anniversary of the attacks.
It memorializes borough native Laura Lee Defazio Morabito. Laura was 34 years old when she was killed in the attack on the World Trade Center.
The plaque honoring her has been in her hometown for many years but had to be moved earlier this year.
It has been redesigned and rededicated in Depot Street Pocket Park in Clarks Summit.
