ALLENTOWN, Pa. – On Saturday, Allentown hosted its first-ever Liberty Bell Festival on Hamilton Street.
The festival was created to celebrate Allentown’s own personal history with the Liberty Bell.
In 1777, the bell was secretly brought to the city to keep it safe from the British during the revolution.
Nearly 250 years later, the City is celebrating by bringing together local artists, historical reenactments, live entertainment, and good food.
