COOPERSBURG, Pa. – There’s a field of flowers blooming that can give all of us a bit of comfort.
On this last day of summer, you’ll find this stunning sunflower field in Coopersburg right across from Pappy’s Orchard and Bakery.
It’s more than just a pretty place. As we’ve told you over the years, there’s a maze amidst all those flowers to help ease your mind and body.
It’s all a part of the nonprofit Petals 4 Hope started by Ester Urffer, who wanted a place where people could come to decompress, be out in nature, and pay attention to how they are feeling.
She says mazes have a calming effect, and being out in nature can improve your mental health.
There are more than 100,000 flowers in this field and Ester says this year’s weather was a big help. She says it was perfect for sunflower growing.
