LOWER MERION — Firefighters in Ardmore helped reunite a scared cat with its owners Saturday morning.

According to officials, crews from the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore were called by police and neighbors to Chatham Road in Ardmore to help a cat named Bear in distress. Bear was stuck on the roof of a twin home.

Ardmore’s ladder truck responded, and the firefighters were able to rescue the cat from the roof with the assistance of the owner. 

Bear was then returned to his owner and was uninjured.
