Bradford/Sullivan County native Damian Smith qualified and was nominated to compete in the games next summer
SULLIVAN COUNTY, Pa. — Bradford and Sullivan County Special Olympics athlete, Damian Smith, will be representing Pennsylvania and the US at the 2027 Special Olympics World Games in Chile!
Damian recently found out he was nominated for the honor and spent a few days this month in Chile, at training camp preparing for the World Games.
Damian is an experienced long-distance runner, and we wish him best of luck as he gets ready to compete next summer!
