Two critically injured in Edgewood stabbing, suspect detained
Allegheny County Police say two people were found in critical condition after being stabbed on Linden Avenue
EDGEWOOD, Pa. —
Allegheny County Police are investigating a stabbing in Edgewood that left two people seriously injured.
Police said two people were stabbed on Linden Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m.
First responders located an adult man and woman in critical condition.
County police said a suspect was detained by officers, and detectives will consult with the Allegheny County District Attorney for a charging decision.
When officers arrived on the scene, they were seen searching inside a home. Authorities have not said whether the suspect and the victims knew each other, or if the stabbing was random.
