Park walk: Friends of Nay Aug Park will host Step Up for Nay Aug on Oct. 18, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Schimelfenig Pavilion at Nay Aug Park, Scranton. The free neighborhood fun event includes a guided 1-mile walk through the park, refreshments, face and pumpkin painting, and a raffle ticket drawing that includes toy prizes for younger winners. The dinner will be served with mashed potatoes, veggie, roll and butter, and dessert. Cash bingo fundraiser: Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church cash bingo fundraiser, Oct. 11, Holy Rosary Center, 316 Market St. Doors open at noon and bingo games start at 1 p.m. Tickets are $30 for 16 games with a prize of $150 per game. Four mystery special games at $5 each with prizes ranging from $300-$1,000. There will be homemade food, door prizes, 50/50, cash raffle, plus a raffle for a cauldron bowl containing lottery tickets and a guaranteed cash amount. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
