CATASAUQUA, Pa. – A 19-year-old male was pronounced dead inside a Catasauqua home Saturday, and the Lehigh County Coroner has ruled the manner of death a homicide.

Police, EMS, and the Lehigh County coroner were on the scene of the shooting in the 200 block of Edward Lane just before 5 p.m..

The victim has been positively identified, however his name will not be released until an autopsy is completed on Monday.

Lehigh County DA Gavin Holihan released a statement saying that the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force is actively investigating the case and will provide more information as soon as it is appropriate to do so.
