PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A woman who asked not to be identified says she encountered Raymond “R.C.” Horsch and his son Eugene more than a decade ago and has since spoken with Philadelphia detectives investigating missing and unidentified women connected to a home on Chew Avenue in Olney.

The woman said she decided to share her story in hopes that other women will come forward and that families will find justice.

“When I saw this story break, I was like, ‘Oh my God, I know who that is,'” she said.

The woman said she met R.C. and Eugene in 2012 while she was homeless and using drugs. Unlike other accounts, she said she did not meet the men in Kensington.

“I met Ray and Eugene when I was in Camden, New Jersey, actually on Broadway,” she said.

She said she returned with the men to their house on Chew Avenue. After using drugs, she said she blacked out and awoke to R.C. Horsch standing over her and taking photographs.

“I was terrified. I thought he was going to, him and his son Eugene, I thought they were going to kill me.”

The woman said that despite her state of mind at the time, she felt she needed to leave the house.

“I was like, I need to get out of here before I die,” she recalled.

She said she was able to get away but that the men found her in Camden weeks later. She recalled Eugene Horsch threatening her.

“Eugene was like, ‘You know I can kill you right and nobody would ever find you.'”

The woman said she has since spoken with Philadelphia detectives and learned that she appears in some of the more than 1 million files recovered from the house.

“They were interested in what Eugene said when he threatened me, and if I thought other girls had been out there. I spoke to one girl’s mom, Gabby’s mom.”

Seven missing or unidentified women are now linked to the Olney investigation.

The woman recalled how women at the time warned one another about a man they referred to by a physical characteristic.

“We would say, ‘The one-eyed guy, don’t go with him.’ Girls would go missing; we’d be like, ‘Do you think it’s him or the other guy?'”

Now sober for 10 years, the woman said she has provided investigators with the names of women she believes are gone and could be connected to the investigation. She said fear may be preventing other survivors from speaking with authorities.

“A lot of us are afraid to come forward, but I’m only doing it so the other girls have a chance of getting some type of justice from this.”

R.C. Horsch died last year and was never charged in connection with activity related to the Chew Avenue home. He is believed to be in one of five urns taken from the property.

Eugene Horsch is being held on a federal firearms charge as the investigation continues.

A community meeting is planned for Sunday in Olney. Investigators are expected to return to the home next week.
