Lancaster police search for man who allegedly stole over $82k of power tools from contractors

Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a man who they say stole over $82,000 worth of power tools from contractors in Lancaster County and Maryland.

PSP say they investigated 12 theft and burglary incidents where power tools were stolen from construction sites in the above locations. The power tools were taken from contractor trailers left on sites or from inside buildings being built.

The total loss from the thefts totals $82,664.

The victims of the thefts are predominantly from the Amish community, with some people having been victimized multiple times, police say.

PSP say their investigation led them to believe that Jose Sola Navarro committed these thefts.

On September 25, police obtained an arrest warrant for Navarro for multiple counts of theft, burglary and criminal trespassing.
