LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Children in the Lower Merion area will be heading back to school soon (sorry, kids). And the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services is once again hosting its annual Back to School Drive.

The annual drive collects school supplies to help support students in need and is made possible through generous residents.

Unfortunately, many children in the area do not have access to resources needed to thrive in school.

Lower Merion-area residents can support the driven now through Aug. 22 by dropping off items at a few locations in the township.

Items sought are:

Items can be dropped off at the Ardmore, Ludington, Bala Cynwyd, and Belmont Hills libraries, the Lower Merion Police Department, and the Lower Merion Township Administration Building.
