LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The Lebanon High School Cedars set a Pennsylvania state record on Friday night, but it wasn’t the kind of record a team hopes for.

After a 64-8 loss against Muhlenberg on Friday, the Cedars have now lost 57 straight games.

The losing streak breaks the previous record that was set by South Philadelphia between 1990 and 1996.

Lebanon’s last win came against Garden Spot on Oct. 9, 2020, according to MaxPreps.

Since then, the Cedars have endured five straight winless seasons and are sitting at 0-5 to start this year.

Lebanon will look to end the streak when it hosts Governor Mifflin, another 0-5 school, next Friday.
