Music filled Erie’s West Bayfront on Saturday as PorchFest returned for its seventh year.

34 bands performed throughout the neighborhood, turning front porches and yards into stages for the afternoon.

Musicians played at homes across the West Bayfront, giving people the chance to walk from block to block and hear a variety of live music.

Organizers said the event started during COVID as a way to get people together and enjoy their time, and it’s only grown from there.

“It’s about the community, it’s about the people. So it’s great chance for us people to get together, get to know your neighbor and to be able to ride hospitality, cause that’s showing love for your neighbor,” said Chuck Nelson, event organizer for PorchFest.

The music continued into the evening, wrapping up another year of PorchFest in Erie’s West Bayfront.
