Robert J. Kozak
OBITUARY
Robert J. Kozak, 77, of Beach Mountain Lakes, Drums, PA, passed away on Saturday September 26, 2026, in Lehigh Valley Hospital after a brave battle with cancer. He was the beloved brother of Rev. David J. Kozak of Allentown. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Jo (Dill) Kozak and their family: Kelly Walschburger and Anthony Petritsch, Rachel and Dr. Jonathan Perez, Jacob Petritsch, and Riley Walschburger.
Robert was born on April 5, 1949, in Coaldale, PA, where he attended local Catholic Schools. After serving his country in the US Navy, he proudly attended Penn State University and was an avid Nittany Lions fan all his life. He worked at Career Link and the Social Security Administration in the regional office before his retirement. He devoted his retirement to caring for his home and family. He will be remembered for his kindness and work ethic and will be sorely missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 3, 2026 at 10:00am in Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 97 S. Hunter Highway, Drums, PA. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday October 2, 2026, from 5:30-6:30pm in the O’Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown, and again on Saturday October 3, 2026, from 9:00-10:00am in the church vestibule prior to mass. Interment will follow at Sky-View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Robert’s memory to Sacred Heart Church, 336 N. Fourth Street, Allentown, or Immaculate Conception Church, 501 Ridge Avenue, Allentown. Services have been entrusted to the O’Donnell Funeral Home.
