While there was very little change in most classifications in the latest Pennsylvania high school football rankings, there was one notable addition in Class 3A.

Palmerton, which is one of four unbeaten Colonial League teams at the regular season’s halfway point, cracked the 3A rankings at No. 10. That gives District 11 and the Colonial League three of the top 10 teams in the state in 3A with Northwestern Lehigh and Notre Dame-Green Pond owning the top two spots in that class most of the season.

Elsewhere, Parkland remained No. 5 and Pennridge, coached by former Dieruff coach Kyle Beller, stayed No. 10 in Class 6A.  Southern Lehigh stayed at No. 4 in 5A.
