The Philadelphia Police Department said it is investigating two arson incidents that occurred days apart at the same location in the Cedarbrook neighborhood.

Police said the first incident occurred on the evening of Sept. 21 in the 8200 block of Williams Avenue. The second incident occurred on Sept. 25 at the same location. No injuries were reported in either incident, officials said.

Here’s a breakdown of each incident.

According to Philadelphia police, around 7 p.m. on Sept. 21, officers and firefighters responded to the Cedarbrook neighborhood for a report of a fire at the rear door of a home.

Officials said the suspect appeared to have set a can on fire before fleeing the scene.

The offender in this incident was described as a woman in her 30s with a medium build, wearing a black baseball cap, white face covering, red shirt and blue pants.

Five days later, on Sept. 26, police responded to the same location and spoke with a resident who said a fire had occurred the night before, on Sept. 25, at approximately 10:30 p.m.

The resident told police they saw a woman believed to be in her 20s or 30s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium-brown complexion and medium build. She was described as wearing glasses, her hair in a bun, a black cap, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants.

According to the resident, the suspect threw a bottle that had been set on fire at a parking bollard in the rear driveway, causing a fire. Engine 73 firefighters extinguished the fire, police said.

The woman was last seen fleeing westbound on Mount Airy Avenue, according to officials.

As of Tuesday, Sept. 29, no arrests had been made in connection with the incidents.

Philadelphia police are assisting ATF agents with the investigation.
