READING, Pa. — Henry Cho will bring his clean Southern comedy routine to Reading next year.
Cho will take the stage at Santander Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 1, as part of his It’s What I Do tour, the venue said.
The tour will visit 26 cities across the U.S.
The venue said his stand-up show blends sharp observational humor about family life and parenting.
It’s What I Do highlights the veteran comedian’s take on cultural mix-ups, church life and everyday marriage negotiations.
Cho is currently on his Empty Nest Tour, which has sold out more than 95 performances across the U.S. over the past two years, the venue said.
Tickets go on presale Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m. with code HENRY.
The venue said remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. at henrychocomedy.com.
Cho was inducted as the 229th member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2023, becoming the first comedian to receive the honor since 1973, the venue said.
The venue said Cho’s television credits include appearances on NBC’s The Tonight Show, CBS’ The Late Late Show and NBC’s Young Comedians Special.
He hosted NBC’s Friday Night Videos for two years and has made numerous guest appearances on network sitcoms.
He was the co-creator, co-producer and co-writer of The Henry Cho Show on GAC.
His one-hour Comedy Central special, What’s That Clickin’ Noise?, was also on Netflix, the venue said.
