READING, Pa. – Taking care of our older family members can feel overwhelming. But an event in Reading is helping folks navigate through it all.
Berks Encore held its senior expo at FirstEnergy Stadium Tuesday.
People went home with information on everything from Medicare and nutrition to finances and community resources.

Organizers say it was also a great opportunity for socializing.
“Wonderful! I’m enjoying the nice walk around and talking with people,” said Alisa Hiegler, of Exeter Township.
“Seeing new friends, seeing people that I know that work out here,” said Lin Langlois, of Muhlenberg Township.
The more than 80 vendors also gave out some free goodies like Ensure protein drinks and flashlights.
