A fatal Northampton County crash involving three vehicles Wednesday evening is under investigation, according to state police.
The crash happened at Weaversville Road and Atlas Road in Allen Township, Trooper Nathan Branosky, a state police spokesperson, said in a post on X.

One of the vehicles involved was a motorcycle, according to emergency radio dispatches. Branosky did not indicate the number of fatalities, but initial emergency radio dispatches indicated the motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Weaversville Road remains closed in the area of the crash. Traffic is being detoured between Route 329 and Walnut Street, Branosky said.
No further details were immediately available Wednesday evening.
