NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Pa. – A motorcyclist has been pronounced dead at the hospital following a 3-vehicle accident in Allen Township on Wednesday night, Coroner Dan Buglio confirmed.
A Northampton County Emergency Dispatcher says the accident occurred at the intersection of Weaversville Road and Atlas Road just before 7:30 p.m.
Following the accident, the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver later passed away, coroner Buglio said.

Initial reports say the crash involved a motorcycle, SUV, and another vehicle.
According to authorities, the intersection of Weaversville Road and Atlas Road remains closed, along with a stretch of each road, due to accident reconstruction.
Emergency crews from Allen and East Allen Townships, Northampton, and Northampton Regional EMS all responded to the accident scene, officials confirm. As of 9 p.m., crews remained on scene.
