The Panthers shot a 319 at Deer Valley to beat Riverdale (322) and Rockridge (329) as the three advancing teams. Fulton (329) was fourth and Newman (336) was sixth. Rock Falls (370) was 11th.
Fulton’s Owen Van Zuiden earned medalist after a playoff with Riverdale’s Andrew Birkland and Annawan-Wethersfield’s Daylon Hendrix, who all shot a 72 in regulation.
E-P’s Grayson Allen (76) took fourth and Bureau Valley’s Chase Stier (78) was fifth.
Other area advancing individuals were Rock Falls’ Lucas Porter (80), Newman’s Finley Schmidt (81), Fulton’s Hudson Price (83) and Newman’s Liam Murphy (83)
