William E. Steiner
OBITUARY
William E. Steiner, 81, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 30, 2026. He was the loving husband of Joyce G. (Ackerman) Steiner. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John and Mildred (Fisher) Steiner. He was a member of the former St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Allentown. In 1962, he graduated from William Allen High School. He was an Army veteran who served and fought during the Vietnam War. He worked for 33 years as a millwright at Bethlehem Steel and later Whemco. In his earlier years, he coached LCYA Bulldog Football. Mostly, he will be greatly missed by all who loved him, especially his “3 Jo’s” and his grandchildren who were his world.
Survivors: wife Joyce; daughters Jolene P., wife of Robert Fritchey of Northampton, Jodi D.D., wife of Richard Fritzinger of Whitehall; brother Joseph (Patricia); sister Debra Steiner; sister in laws June Steiner and Carol Rompilla; grandchildren Craig, Nickolas, Hannah. He was predeceased by brother John and sister Lorraine.
Memorial service: 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 4 at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St. Allentown. Calling hour will begin at 3:00 PM.
