The prolific goal scorer went down injured in the 2-2 draw against Wycombe Wanderers last Saturday holding his ankle, but decided to play on for another ten minutes before being replaced by his counter-part in Jacob Brown. Brown would go on and give the Royals a 2-1 lead before Chairboys newcomer Danny Ings equalised minutes later.

Bristol City loanee Josh Stokes steps in for an injured George Earthy for the second consecutive game with the former West Ham midfielder due to be out for weeks.
The midfielder was absent from the squad for the Royals’ draw with Wycombe Wanderers, with Richardson revealing after the game that he has suffered a plantar fascia problem.
It represents a blow for Reading as they prepare for their upcoming fixtures, with the exact length of Earthy’s absence still to be determined.
Richardson said: “George is going to be out for a number of weeks, so we’re still waiting on that one.
“I think he’s torn the plantar fascia, in the medical term, so that’ll be a number of weeks, which is disappointing.”
