LEHIGH COUNTY, Pa. – A block party for a good cause took over the Coplay Saengerbund on Sunday from noon to six p.m.
The first-ever Billy Palooza Block Party benefited the scholarship program for The BEST Scholars Group.
Event organizers say proceeds will go towards scholarships for “at-risk” students in the area to achieve their dream of receiving a college education.
The Block Party featured bowling, food trucks, kids’ games, raffle baskets, and live music.
Additionally, three bands played at the Saengerbund Pavilion during the event, including South Penn Dixie, Roger Girke, and The Honey Buzzards.
The event also featured a special appearance of the Iron Pig’s Mascot, Ferrous, from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
