Tickets for the expanded service are available starting this week on Amtrak’s website and app.

The new schedule doubles the daily service on the 444-mile route between Pittsburgh and New York, which passes through Harrisburg and Philadelphia.

This expansion is part of the Shapiro administration’s investment of more than $80 million in rail infrastructure.

Service begins November 18.
