Burglary: Police secured an arrest warrant for Cedric Ray Dowtin, 39, of Upper Darby in a burglary that occurred on the 400 block of Sharon Avenue. On Oct. 22 police served a warrant at Dowtin’s residence but he was not there. If you know his whereabouts contact police at 610-237-6200.

Oct. 1

Outstanding warrants: Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of Chester Pike that had been linked to an armed robbery in Secaucus, New Jersey. Two individuals in the vehicle — Abrahem Fofana of Folcroft and Morris Dukuly of Sharon Hill — had outstanding warrants from other agencies, leading to their arrest. They were taken to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility.

Stabbing: Police responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 100 block of Garvin Boulevard, where they found an adult male victim with a shoulder stab wound. Tina Barklow, 59, was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters and charged with simple and aggravated assault as well as harassment, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and possession of an instrument of crime. She was subsequently released on $100,000 unsecured bail.

Assault: Officers responded to a theft incident at 1106 Chester Pike. Upon arrival, police discovered that Hubert Holder, 51, had allegedly assaulted a store employee before fleeing with stolen goods. Holder is currently being held at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility pending a preliminary hearing before Judge Tammi L. Forbes.

Oct. 12

False Identification: Units responded to the 100 block of Calcon Hook Road for a domestic between a male and female. The female, Stephanie Trinkle, 30, gave police false identification. After verifying her true identity, it was learned she had an outstanding felony extradition warrant from the state of Delaware. Trinkle was taken into custody and subsequently transferred to George W. Hill Correctional Facility, where she was held pending extradition to Delaware.

Oct. 21

Receiving stolen property: Officers were monitoring traffic in the area of Sharon and Woodland avenues where they located a vehicle reported stolen out of Philadelphia. The operator, identified as Christie Savice, 37, was charged with receiving stolen property.

Oct. 22

Vandalism: Police responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle in the 700 block of Eggleston Circle. Following an investigation, Erika Pitts, 21, was identified as one of two individuals involved in the incident. Her mother, Simone Spence, 47, also of Bensalem has already surrendered to law enforcement.

Oct. 26

DUI: Police stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Sharon Avenue. The driver, a 65-year-old male from Swedesboro, New Jersey, displayed signs of intoxication and was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with driving under the influence and failure to stop at a red signal. He received unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear before Forbes in late November.

Oct. 30

Drug arrest: Theodore L. Tillman, 40, of Upper Darby was arrested on narcotics and firearms offenses following a two-month narcotics trafficking investigation. Police were made aware that Tillman was supplying narcotics to the lower eastern end of Delaware County. According to police, during the investigation, several purchases were made from Tillman. Tillman was arrested at his home on the 500 block of Glendale Road in Upper Darby. He resisted and attempted to flush narcotics down the bathroom toilet. The search yielded illegal narcotics, narcotics packaging, cash, and two illegal firearms, one with an obliterated serial number. As a prior felon, Tillman is prohibited from possessing firearms. Tillman was taken into custody and bail was set at 20 percent of $300,000. He was transferred to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Nov 12 before District Judge Walter Strohl.
