SEPTA commuters on Regional Rail lines saw cancelations and delays on Wednesday morning as, officials said, issues with Amtrak’s overhead wire led to the suspension of the Cynwyd Regional Rail Line and caused delays for outbound Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail Line trains.

At about 7 a.m., during the morning commute, SEPTA officials announced the suspension of the Cynwyd Regional Rail Line.

The line, officials said, has been suspended “until further notice” because of issues with Amtrak’s overhead wires.

Outbound trains along the Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail Line were seeing delays and cancelations, but that line was not suspended early Wednesday.
