Dancing with the Stars is once again going from the TV screen to the stage with a tour, which includes a stop scheduled for the PPL Center in Allentown.
Dancing with the Stars: LIVE, which has dancers from the long-running TV show, will be held Feb. 3 at the PPL Center, according to a news release from LiveNation. Tickets go on sale Tuesday at DWTSTour.com.
The tour kicks off Jan. 21 and continues into April. Other Pennsylvania stops include Philadelphia, Hershey and Pittsburgh.
The show will include several professional dancers, including Brandon Armstrong, Rylee Arnold, Alan Bersten, Hailey Bills, Sharna Burgess, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Britt Stewart, and Adele Zaikman, according to the release. Celebrity guest stars will be announced later.
“Last year’s Dancing with the Stars tour was record-breaking, with sold-out shows across the country and demand so strong that we added additional dates,” Ryan O’Dowd, president of Global Productions, Los Angeles, BBC Studios, and executive producer of Dancing with the Stars, said in the release. “That response speaks to the incredible passion of our fans and the excitement surrounding this franchise. The tour gives our professional dancers an opportunity to showcase their extraordinary talent while bringing the energy and spectacle of the ballroom directly to audiences across the country. We can’t wait to get back on the road and make this year’s tour even more unforgettable.”
