An open casting call for the long-running reality competition series will be held at Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a casting announcement released Monday, Oct. 5.
The auditions will be held inside the casino’s Event Center at 1001 North Delaware Avenue.
Unlike the show’s online application process, hopeful contestants can show up for the Philadelphia casting call without making an appointment or registering in advance.
Auditions will be held on a first-come, first-served basis, and applicants only need to bring identification, according to the casting announcement.
Local CBS affiliates conduct the open calls and will record each applicant’s audition, so hopefuls do not need to bring their own audition video.
Casting officials are looking for strong-willed, outgoing, adventurous people who can adapt to new environments and handle the physical, mental, and social challenges of the game.
Those who make it through the Philadelphia audition could advance to additional interviews with producers. Final interviews may be conducted remotely or in Los Angeles, according to the casting announcement.
The open call comes as “Survivor” is actively casting for future seasons, including Season 53.
According to the show’s official casting website, Season 53 is expected to tape from mid-April through mid-May 2027.
“Super Fans, First Timers (and everyone in between), please apply NOW for a future season of Survivor,” casting officials said.
Applicants must meet the show’s eligibility requirements. Contestants must be United States or Canadian citizens, and most applicants in the United States must be at least 18 years old, though minimum ages vary in some states.
Those unable to attend the Philadelphia open call can still apply online through the official “Survivor” casting website by clicking here.
“Survivor,” which premiered on CBS in 2000, sends contestants into a remote environment where they compete in physical and mental challenges while forming alliances and attempting to avoid elimination at Tribal Council.
The last player standing is crowned the Sole Survivor and takes home the $1 million prize.
