The next few days look beautiful and dry before our next weather system approaches late Sunday, bringing a better chance for widespread long duration rain.

The setup is quiet and dry Wednesday as high pressure keeps control with a warming trend taking us from cool fall mornings to much milder afternoons by Thursday.

Wednesday will stay sunny with a high near 70 degrees and a light southwest breeze.

Thursday stays sunny and warmer with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s, with southwest winds gusting up to around 20 mph.

Friday remains mostly sunny and comfortable with a high near 73 degrees while the weekend starts dry before rain chances increase Sunday.

The rain on Sunday will be fueled by moisture from what is now Tropical Storm Isaias. Isaias is expected to strengthen into a Category 2 Hurricane by Friday.
