A new Warby Parker store will open soon in the Lehigh Valley.

The eyewear brand will open the new 1,559-square-foot location next year at Promenade Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township, the shopping center announced in a news release. It is adjacent to Athleta and replaces shoe retailer Johnston & Murphy.

“Founded in 2010, Warby Parker is a mission-driven lifestyle brand focused on making exceptional vision care simple, accessible and enjoyable,” the news release said. “The company offers designer-quality prescription glasses and sunglasses, contact lenses, eye exams and other vision services, combining thoughtful design, innovative technology and a customer-first experience.”

The new store will join another location at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township, the chain website listed.

October marks the 20th anniversary for the Promenade, which has promised special offers and promotions through Oct. 20, and the 50th anniversary for the Lehigh Valley Mall.
