A long-vacant property on Erie’s west side is poised for a new chapter.
The former Lord Corporation site at West 12th Street and Greengarden Boulevard has been purchased by Drew Whiting and Michael Peterson, who are exploring redevelopment opportunities for the property.
The Erie Downtown Development Corporation (EDDC) will assist with the site’s development as plans move forward. While a final use has not yet been determined, the development team is currently evaluating several options for the property.
Developers say they hope to begin construction in 2027, bringing new investment and activity to a location that has sat vacant for years. Additional details about the project are expected as planning efforts continue.
