Two persons of interest in a series of armed robberies that occurred throughout Philadelphia are now in custody, police confirmed with NBC10 on Thursday.

Police have not revealed the ages or identities of the persons of interest though sources told NBC10 one of the individuals is an adult while the other is a juvenile.

No charges have been officially filed.

The news comes a day after police released videos of masked gunmen who robbed victims in various locations across the city, including outside the Four Seasons Hotel.

Philadelphia police are searching for suspects involved in at least eight robberies in neighborhoods across the city, including Center City, Northern Liberties, North Philadelphia and Fairmount. NBC10’s Isabel Sánchez has a detailed timeline of the robberies as the investigation continues.

The first robbery occurred on the morning of Friday, Oct. 2, along the 1800 block of West Norris Street. A 36-year-old man was sleeping inside a vehicle when two masked gunmen approached him, police said.

The suspects stole the man’s watch, two silver chains, and a medallion.

The same suspects then committed a string of robberies on Sunday, Oct 4, between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. in Northern Liberties, Center City, Spring Garden and North Philadelphia, police said.

Surveillance video shows the suspects approach a man and woman along the 400 block of Spring Garden Street at 4:18 a.m. Police said they stole two cellphones, house keys, ID cards and credit cards from the two victims.

At 5:40 a.m. that morning, the two suspects as well as a third suspect robbed a 61-year-old woman who was walking towards the intersection of 27th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. The masked gunmen stole the woman’s bag, cellphone, laptop and AirPods case, police said.

The final robbery occurred at 6:23 a.m. along the 1900 block of West Norris Street. Police said a 22-year-old man was walking in the area when two masked men got out of a Honda Accord and chased after him. The suspects, as well as three additional suspects inside the Honda Accord, all pointed their guns at him, police said.

Police described the vehicle used in both of Tuesday’s robberies as a red 2018-2021 Honda Accord with heavy tint, a sunroof and chrome door handles.
