BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The township has two road projects taking place this week.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that resurfacing and pavement repair operations will occur this week on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Philadelphia, and Delaware counties under multiple ongoing projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway across the five-county region.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Monday, Nov. 10, through Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure with flagging will be in place on sections of U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) between Poquessing Creek and Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) in Bensalem Township for pavement repair.Monday, Nov. 10, through Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure with flagging will be in place on sections of Knights Road between Route 132 (Street Road) and Poquessing Creek in Bensalem Township for pavement repair.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
