New video captures the dramatic moment police crashed into a car to stop a chase suspect from driving away in Washington County.

There was a large police presence at the scene of the crash in Washington County, where police said a wanted person was arrested after a pursuit on Friday evening.

Video shared with Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 by Pete La Rose showed the moment police surrounded the vehicle and began yelling at the driver.

The driver appears to make a getaway attempt, crashing into a sign near the entrance of Lindenwood Golf Club at Galley Road, then turning to continue driving.

The video then shows a police cruiser hitting the suspect’s vehicle, as police swarm once again.

Multiple cruisers appear to hit the vehicle, trapping the suspect from escaping as the driver appears to continue hitting the vehicles around it.

Video from Sky 4, Pittsburgh’s only news chopper, showed the aftermath of the chase, including the damage to the suspect’s car and a cruiser.
