A 2-year-old child was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Millcreek Township on Monday afternoon.
According to the Millcreek Township Police Department, officers were dispatched around 11:54 a.m. to the 5300 block of Apple Grove Lane for a report of a child who had been hit by a vehicle.
Millcreek Paramedic Service responded to the scene and transported the child to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities said the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
