Planning officials will soon consider a new Chick-fil-A restaurant and Wawa gas station in the Lehigh Valley.
The two projects will be considered Thursday during a South Whitehall Township Planning Commission meeting, the township website said — preliminary plan review requested for Chick-fil-A, and preliminary and final plan review requested for Wawa.
The 5,133-square-foot Chick-fil-A restaurant would include a drive-thru and over 50 parking spaces at 1605 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., the meeting agenda packet said, while the 6,049-square-foot Wawa station would include over 70 parking spaces at 1810 Route 309. Hopes to open a convenience store and gas station at the Route 309 property date back to a 2020 sketch plan.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the township municipal building at 4444 Walbert Ave. in South Whitehall.
