BALA CYNWYD, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Today, dozens gathered to celebrate the third annual “GOAToberfest.”

The event at Laurel Hill West raised funds for the Philly Goat Project.

It’s a nonprofit that brings community wellness programs in-partnership with their lovable animal companions.

“We have goats in the middle of the city of Philadelphia, and they are our partners. They’re a catalyst to bring people together… to participate in activities outdoors, in nature, in the city,” said Director, Karen Krivit.

“It’s thrilling and it’s heartwarming that it’s become something so meaningful… And it tells us that there is a need for community connection,” she continued.
